In line with its commitment to enhancing and developing medical expertise, the Director-General of the Royal Medical Services, Brigadier General Sahel Hammouri, received a delegation from the University of Pécs, Hungary, in his office on Tuesday, headed by Colonel Dr. Kopolka Istvan. The Director-General of the Royal Medical Services welcomed the visiting delegation and discussed areas of cooperation, coordination, and exchange of expertise on a number of medical issues of mutual interest between the two friendly countries. Brigadier General Sahel Hammouri emphasized that our top priority is the qualification and training of medical personnel on the latest developments in the world of medicine, enabling them to provide modern and distinguished medical services worthy of patients and visitors. He noted that these visits represent an important opportunity for the exchange of knowledge and mutual benefit, ensuring they keep pace with the latest global medical developments. The visiting delegation praised the significant developments witnessed by the Royal Medical Services recently, through the introduction of modern and advanced technologies and the training of medical personnel to provide high-quality medical services to patients and visitors. The visiting delegation toured a number of military hospital departments and listened to a briefing on the departments’ work mechanisms and key achievements.
